HARTING’s D-Sub housing range includes a wide choice of hood styles for many applications. The customer can choose between plastic hoods for conventional cabling protection and, depending on the EMI shielding level required, between metallised plastic hoods, plastic hoods with an interior metal shield and full metal hoods. A special hood range is offered for the IP 67 degree of protection.
All mounting solutions for D-Sub housings are possible with various screws or accessories such as spring latches or slide locking. Several options are offered to secure the cable to the hood such as grommet, cable clamp or crimp ferrules.
